The Aliwal Inn offers unique and stylish bed sitter and backpacker accommodation. The building is rustically decorated with pillars made from old drift wood found on local beaches and secured with railway bolts dating back as far as 1956. With the ever so exotic Mia Casa restaurant on site which supplies a wide selection of delicious dishes, from morning till evening, combined with the stylish interiors and breathtaking 180° sea views, where you can view the whales and dolphins makes Aliwal Inn an ideal place to stay.

Aliwal Inn can cater for a total of 12 people, rooms set up as follows:

• 3x Twin bed sitter rooms (communal bathrooms);
• 1x Double bed sitter room (communal bathrooms);
• 1x Double en-suite room (toilet and basin only);

Outside bathtubs for rinsing dive gear and cameras with hot showers for divers and guests. Ideal for dive groups, tourists and traveling businessmen. All rooms are labeled as "non-smoking", although there are patios outside each room where smoking is allowed. Bath towels, and individual soaps are provided to all rooms, please bring own beach towels. Tea and coffee is provided to all rooms. Aliwal Inn being named after the infamous Aliwal Shoal, one of the worlds top ten scuba diving sites, which can be seen from each room.

The local swimming beach, along with golf course, bowling club, banks and shops are a mere 10min walk from the Inn. Other activity's that can be booked through us are:
